2023 ford ranger raptor
The Ford Ranger is an impressive truck that has been around for decades. Recently, Ford announced that the Raptor model (normally offered internationally) is making its way to the U.S. for the 2023 model year. The Raptor treatment has been applied to the F-150 and Bronco, so we can expect to see a more powerful engine and off-road capabilities. We can’t wait for this truck to arrive at our dealership in Columbus, TX, so you too can see what makes this model so special.

What to Know About the Ford Ranger Raptor

Performance

The powertrain of the Ranger Raptor largely mirrors that of the Bronco Raptor. Residents of La Grange will find this model offers the same twin-turbo 3.0-liter V-6 engine and produces 392 horsepower and 430 pounds of torque. Coming standard as well as a 10-speed automatic transmission, four-wheel drive, a two-speed transfer case, and front and rear locking differentials.

Features

Inside the cabin of the Ford Ranger Raptor is a more modern look than that of the standard Ranger model. Schulenburg and Sealy, TX drivers, will notice that a larger 12.0-inch vertically oriented touchscreen and a digital gauge cluster are now present, as is Ford’s Sync 4A software and a premium audio system.

As for its cab offerings, not much is known, but we expect the Ranger Raptor to be offered only as a crew cab, just like the F-150 Raptor.

Learn More at Our Dealership

At current, not much else is known about the Ford Ranger Raptor. We suspect it will feature many of the same off-road functionality as other Raptor models, but that’s mere speculation. When more information is available, we will let you know. And when this vehicle does arrive in the U.S., remember that if you’re from the Eagle Lake area or beyond, Cavender Ford is your best place to shop.
