F-150 Raptor® off-road options

The Ford F-150 Raptor offers Sealy and Eagle Lake TX buyers available Fox dual-live valve internal bypass shocks with advanced electronic control technology. That will give you position-sensitive damping adjustability to help minimize heat buildup and respond rapidly to changes in terrain when you're rolling through the desert. Large anodized aluminum shock bodies have low-friction shock fluid that can reduce friction losses inside the damper, giving you enhanced comfort when you're going off-road.

The Raptor also has available race-tested electronically controlled base valves with a new design that can give you 1000 pounds of damping capability at high desert speeds. Another available off-road option is a set of 37-inch all-terrain tires that can give you outstanding traction so you can take on almost any obstacle you face.

The Ford F-150 Raptor comes with flair front fenders that have air extractors, flared pickup box outers and air extractors on the hood. It also has integrated marker lamps, daytime running lamps, LED fog lamps and a cargo lamp with a center high-mounted stop lamp. The Raptor offers an optional modular front bumper and LED projector headlamps with a dynamic bending feature.

The Ford F-150 Raptor comes with standard dual-zone automatic electronic temperature control, a 12-inch digital productivity screen, power door locks with key transmitter keyless entry, Pro Trailer Backup Assist, outfitter switches including six in the overhead console and plenty of grab handles for extra comfort and safety. Other standard interior features include Trailer Reverse Guidance, an automatically-dimming rearview mirror, a heated steering wheel and Intelligent Access with push-button start.

The Ford F-150 Lightning Offers You an Electric Truck Option

One of the highlights of the F-150 lineup is its fully electric variant, the Ford F-150 Lightning. It's fully capable of using only electric power, offers a competitive charging times range, and has a host of enjoyable features for you to view here at Cavender Ford, as we'd be happy to highlight all its benefits.

F-150 Lightning Performance

Powered by two electric motors and with all-wheel drive standard, the EV system is built right into the truck's frame to provide smooth driving and the right power for towing and hauling. Drivers have the choice of two battery packs, one is a 452-horsepower option with 240 miles of driving range, while the other offers up to 580 combined horsepower and has 320 miles of driving range. Both provide 775 pound-feet of torque and can tow up to 8,600 pounds. It also can haul up to 2,000 pounds of payload on extended-range battery packs in a 5.5-foot truck bed.

To charge the vehicle, you can use any public charging station, including DC fast charging stations, which Ford estimates can charge the F-150 Lightning from 15 percent to 80 percent in 44 minutes. You also can install a Level 2 at-home charger to replenish the power at home overnight. The F-150 Lightning is also versatile in other ways, which includes the ability to act as a backup generator for up to three days on a fully-charged battery for a standard household in the event of an outage, or if you need power at a location where there aren't any outlets.

Versatility

Along with its ability to tow and haul, the new F-150 Lightning has a spacious interior cabin, plus ample storage outside the truck bed. This is highlighted by its front-end trunk which you can find under the hood, often referred to as a "frunk." Since the vehicle's motors and drivetrain are built into its frame, it frees up this space, and you benefit by finding more room for storage, with options like organizers, hooks, and an electrical outlet in the "frunk."

Technology and Safety

Like other new Ford vehicles, the F-150 Lightning has lots of onboard technology. This includes a 12-inch touch display, plus the choice for a 15-inch display. You'll find Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ to integrate your phone, plus there's available Wi-Fi features, and an 18-speaker premium sound system available on select models. You'll feel secure on the road with driver assistance, as the F-150 Lightning has many standard safety features. This includes standard automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, plus lane-keeping assist and lane-departure warning. Other available features include adaptive cruise control and BLIS® with cross-traffic alert for blind spot monitoring. There are also available semi-autonomous driving modes that allow for hands-free driving in select scenarios.

Trim levels in the F-150 Lightning lineup are divided by their battery packs. The F-150 Lightning Pro is the standard option only, while trims like the F-150 Lightning XLT, LARIAT and Platinum offer both standard and extended-range battery packs.
